Kebisoni Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCO) has taken another bold step toward expanding financial inclusion with the official opening of its Rukungiri Municipality Branch. The event, held on 10th April 2025, was presided over by the Chief Guest and attended by dignitaries from Rukungiri Municipal Council, members of the business community, and other key stakeholders.
The new branch marks a significant milestone in Kebisoni SACCO’s ongoing mission to bring financial services closer to the people. It will serve communities in Rukungiri Municipality, Nyakagyeme, Buhunga, and neighboring areas—offering convenient access to savings, loans, and other financial solutions that empower local entrepreneurs, farmers, and households.
Residents turned up in large numbers to celebrate the launch, expressing gratitude for the SACCO’s continued commitment to community growth and economic transformation. Many new members opened accounts during the event, with more registrations continuing in the following days.
